About the Author/作者介绍： 马格瑞特•奥斯本是东吉普斯兰的第五代农场主，她自出生之日起便一直生活并工作在昆士兰内地的吉普斯兰。作者曾荣获维多利亚乡村女性资助基金，并凭借多年来的土地保护与管理经验获得该方向学位。马格瑞特曾于报纸与乡村期刊上刊登多篇故事与文章，并于热门乡村生活杂志《吉普斯兰乡村生活》上拥有其常规版面。本书是她的第一部小说作品，其第二部小说《希望之路》正在校订中。作者现与其家人居住在维多利亚乡村。更多作者信息，请访问：www.margaretaosborn.com.auMargareta Osborn is a fifth generation farmer in East Gippsland, she has lived and worked all her life on farms and stations from Gippsland, Victoria to outback Queensland. She is a past winner of the prestigious Victorian Rural Woman’s Leadership Bursary, has a degree in Conservation and Land Management with years of experience in Landcare and agricultural extension. Margareta has published many stories and articles in newspapers and rural journals and has a regular page in the popular country living magazine, Gippsland Country Life. This is her first novel, her second Hope’s Road has just been edited.
