About the Author/作者介绍： DAVID GIBBONS is the author of Faiths & Religions of the World as well as co-author of The Compact Timelines of: World War II, Military History, and Aviation History. He entered book publishing in 1970 and became Editorial Director of Arms and Armour Press, which published some of the most significant military history titles of the 1970s and 1980s, including many that have become classics. In the 1980s he set up DAG Publications with Anthony Evans, which produced many Timeline titles and other military and history books. He has subsequently edited and designed a number of books for Conway, Bloomsbury and Third Millennium Press.
