About the Author/作者介绍： Lisa Moore出生在纽芬兰聖鐘斯，在新斯特克大學學藝術和設計，原本她向從事視覺藝術的職業，現在卻成為了全職作家。Moore嫁給了紐芬蘭紀念大學社會學副教授Stephen Crocker。2002的著作Open 就獲得了吉勒獎（Giller Prize）。第一本正式長篇小說《短吻鱷》（Alligator (2005)）也入圍吉勒獎（Giller Prize），2006年獲得英聯邦國家作者新人新書獎，入圍2007年IMPAC Award.

Lisa Moore is the acclaimed author of February, which was longlisted for the Man
Booker Prize, selected as one of The New Yorker’s Best Books of the Year, and was a

Giller Prize and won the Commonwealth Fiction Prize (Canada and the Caribbean), and
was a national bestseller. Her story collection Open was a finalist for the Scotiabank

of Anansi Press in June 2013. She lives in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
