Aaron Reynolds has written many great books for kids, including Creepy Carrots, Chicks and Salsa, Back of the Bus, and the Joey Fly, Private Eye graphic novel series. Though Aaron spent six years as a vegetarian, he is now a committed carnivore. Among many other meats, he has eaten emu, ostrich, alligator, kangaroo, buffalo, and octopus. Aaron has never eaten a wise old owl, but imagines it tastes just like chicken. He lives in Chicago.
Dan Santat is the illustrator of such acclaimed works as Oh No! and The Adventures of Nanny Piggins. He is also the creator of Disney’s animated hit, “The Replacements”. Dan graduated with honors from the Art Center, College of Design. He lives in Southern California with his wife, two kids, a rabbit, a bird, and one cat.
