About the Author/作者介绍： EMILY GALE女士于1975年在伦敦出生。大学毕业后，她开始在儿童出版行业工作：她先后从事过编辑，文稿代理人，作家等工作。她的作品很多都是为学龄前儿童创作的，其中“猪猪医生”和“只是乔茜”这2本绘本深受小朋友们的喜爱。她于2009年出版了第1本青少年小说《女孩，大声说出你的爱》，该书一经上市，立即受到小读者们的一致好评。“小发明家伊莉莎的奇妙日记”系列童书已于近日推出！！！Emily Gale was born in London in 1975. Since leaving university she has worked in children’s book publishing in a number of roles: as an editor, a reader for a literary agent, a buyer for an independent book store, and a writer. Her work includes several books for pre-schoolers and the picture books ’Doctor Pig’ and ’Just Josie’. ’Girl, Aloud’ was her first novel for teenagers, published in 2009 (known as Girl Out Loud in the USA), and her second was ’Steal My Sunshine’. Most recently she has written two books for newly confident readers, ’Eliza Boom’. She is currently writing a ghost story. Emily lives in Melbourne with her partner and two children.
