With the assassin still in pursuit and time running out, Gabriel must learn to shoulder the responsibilities of his new life and the weight of an impossible destiny before all is lost.
Following an ambush by a supposed ally that results in the death of their Essene guide, Gabriel, his father, and Micah race to Axum, Ethiopia—the legendary home of the Ark of the Covenant—in order to retrieve King Solomon’s Ring, the one weapon powerful enough to stop the End of Days. Once there, the Sentinel of the Ark challenges Gabriel before allowing the Ark to determine his worthiness. As Gabriel explores the heart of his very being, and is bestowed the gift of Solomon’s ring, the enemy arrives in Axum to finish what he started.
