ABOVE is both a literary dystopian novel in the tradition of NEVER LET ME GO, with the plot-driven narrative of WOOL and the themes of motherhood and sacrifice that made ROOM so celebrated. Along with Isla’s wonderful prose, I’m certain that readers will connect with this multifaceted novel that transcends the genre in a compelling and original way.

But that’s not even the most exciting news. Gallery, who will publish ABOVE in May 2014, absolutely love this novel. Carolyn Reidy, the CEO of Simon & Schuster, wrote Isla personally to tell her how "terrific" the novel was and how excited S&S is to publish it.
