Bob Stanley worked for the NME and Melody Maker in the late eighties before forming the group Saint Etienne with Sarah Cracknell and lifelong friend Pete Wiggs. His first book, Match Day, a collection of football programme artwork co-edited by Paul Kelly, was published in 2008.
