About the Author/作者介绍： 梅勒妮•克劳德是一位陶艺家，画家和雕塑家，毕业于弗特蒙州大学。她现居于落基山脉山脚处。《旱灾》是她的处女作。Melanie Crowder is a ceramist, painter, and sculptor who received her MFA in writing for children and young adults from Vermont College. She lives in the foothills of the Rockies. This is her debut novel.
