Dave Andrews has spent his entire career studying the impact of adults on the emerging lives of children. As a professor at three major research universities, he has taught thousands of undergraduate and graduate students while writing extensively about the role of adults in parenting and educating children. He currently resides in Baltimore, MD, where he is Professor and Dean of the School of Education at Johns Hopkins University. He is one of the world’s foremost experts on the influences of male mentors and will have huge, big-name blurbers such as Michael Bloomberg and Andre Agassi. He has also done work for, won awards from, and been on the board of the YMCA, an organization in 125 countries, and gives talks throughout the world at least twice a week. Dave wrote My Father’s Day Gift in honor of his father. This is his first novel.
