About the Author/作者介绍： 奈杰尔?? 麦克格雷(NIGEL MCCRERY) 在1990年加入BBC公司前是一名警官，对法医学有着浓厚的兴趣。在BBC做了一系列纪录片包括 All The King’s Men 后，他加入了BBC的戏剧制作部门,，成为当时得奖的英剧《我们北方的朋友》( Our Friends in the North) 的研究员。之后，麦克格雷着手创作了各类系列电视剧包括 Silent Witness (1995), Born and Bred (2002) and New Tricks (2005).，也写了几本犯罪小说，以及关于美国空军特别部队与维多利亚十字勋章历史的作品。
NIGEL McCRERY was a police officer with a particular interest in forensic science before he joined the BBC in 1990. After working on a number of BBC documentaries, including All The King’s Men, he joined the BBC drama department, becoming the researcher on the award-winning Our Friends in the North. He then went on to create various series, including Silent Witness (1995), Born and Bred (2002) and New Tricks (2005). He has also written several crime novels, as well as books on the SAS and a history of the Victoria Cross.
