Naazi Safavi born in Tehran, 1967.
The first book she read and felt in love with was Daddy Long Legs. She is a self-taught writer who has learned from her experiences. Her high selling and famous book Hallway to Paradise was published in 1999 by Qoqnoos Publishing House. Hallway to Paradise has reached its 45th edition with more than 200000 copies sold, which is a great record in Iran. Her other novel Limbo, but Heaven is also in its 11th edition. Naazi Safavi believes that writing is a matter of good taste and writing styles could vary over time. Most of her novels deal with women and their issues in the half-traditional, half-modern society of Iran.
She currently lives in Tehran and has a daughter named Farhaneh.
