About the Author/作者介绍： Liz Byrski出生在英國，但從1981年開始就住在澳大利亞西部。她擔任自由記者數年，寫了大量非文學書籍，在ABC廣播電臺做播報員，還是西澳政府大使顧問。50歲後，由於時尚文化中缺少以中老年人為主角的元素，她開始以成熟女人為主題寫小說。比如《Gang of Four》、《Food, Sex and Money》、《Belly Dancing for Beginners》、《Trip of a Lifetime》和《Bad Behaviour》。她現在還在柯廷科技大學做專業寫作講師。

Liz Byrski was born and brought up in England and has lived in Western Australia since 1981. She is the author of a number of nonfiction books and has worked as a freelance journalist, a broadcaster with ABC Radio and an adviser to a minister in the WA Government. In her late fifties, in despair at the absence of realistic and interesting representations of older women in popular culture, she began writing novels that feature older characters. She is the author of Gang of Four; Food, Sex and Money; Belly Dancing for Beginners; Trip of a Lifetime and Bad Behaviour and lectures in professional writing at Curtin University of Technology.
