About the Author/作者介绍： 伊丽莎白•乔弗德曾于利兹大学学习法国文学和世界宗教。她曾为《时代》和《独立报》等撰写文章，并拥有牛津大学凯洛格学院授予的创造性写作文聘和皇家哈洛威学院颁发的创造性写作文学硕士学位。作者目前已婚，育有三子。现居住在泰晤士河旁金士顿市，但他们尽可能的呆在希伯来。本书是其继《海屋秘密》后的第二部小说作品，《海屋秘密》于2013年由Corvus出版社出版发行。ELISABETH GIFFORD studied French literature and world religions at Leeds University. She has written articles for The Times and The Independent and has a Diploma in Creative Writing from Oxford OUDCE and an MA in Creative Writing from Royal Holloway College. She is married with three children. They live in Kingston on Thames but spend as much time as possible in the Hebrides. This is her second novel and follows Secrets of the Sea House which Corvus published in 2013.
