About the Author/作者介绍： 克莱儿•邓茵十几岁时便开始探索并保护野生环境，多年来她一直坚持参加荒野保护协会的各种活动。作为一名自由职业者，克莱儿经常为《年代》《悉尼哈罗德早报》撰稿。而基于其野外生存经历所创作的文章则被刊登在《澳洲地理》及《火》选集上。作者目前正于悉尼大学攻读心理学硕士学位。Claire Dunn has been exploring and protecting wild places since her teens, working for many years as a campaigner for The Wilderness Society. Now a freelance journalist, Claire writes frequently for The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald, and essays based on her survival experience have appeared in Australian Geographic and the anthology Fire. She is currently studying postgraduate psychology at Sydney University.
