About the Author/作者介绍： 作者Pimm van Hest1975年生于荷兰。很早便开始创作童书。2008年，他领养了女孩Moira。此后创作了一部有关领养的童书《Rosita》，因为他发现孩子们对于领养这个问题充满了各种疑惑。自从领养了Moira，Pimm便全职在家工作。他喜欢阅读、写作、设计、散步、和家人在一起。 http://www.pimmvanhest.nl/

Pimm van Hest was born on 25th of August 1975 in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. After secondary school he studied to be a teacher for Primary school. During the last year of that study he wrote a children’s book as a master proof: The Mysterious Adventures of Keob and his friends. After teaching for one year, he started studying again: psychology at Tilburg (The Netherlands). In his spare time he worked in a big book shop in Eindhoven (The Netherlands). In 2008 Pimm adopted his daughter: Moira. He has two dogs as well, named Splinter and Zorro. Pimm came up with the idea of writing a children’s book about adoption, a picture book. Because he noticed that children come up with a lot of questions about adoption at that age and there were very little Books about it. That’s how his book Rosita came into being. Since Moira came, Pimm is fulltime at home and he likes reading, writing, designing, walking and enjoying his family.
