Lesley Livingston is the author of the acclaimed Wondrous Strange series (HarperTeen). Wondrous Strange is the winner of the Canadian Library Association’s (CLA) Young Adult Book Award and is a White Pine Honor Book. Other books in the series include Darklight (2010) and Tempestuous (2011). Penguin Canada published Livingston’s second threebook series, beginning with Once Every Never in 2011. Once Every Never was shortlisted for the CLA’s Young Adult Book Award. Its sequel, Every Never After, published in 2013. A spinoff to the Wondrous Strange series, Starling, was released by HarperTeen in 2012. Its sequel, Descendant, published in 2013. Livingston began a middle grade series with Jonathan Llyr, The Wiggins Weird, in 2013. The first installment, How to Curse in Hieroglyphics, published from Penguin Canada in October 2013. Livingston currently lives in Toronto, Canada. She has a background in acting and holds a Master’s degree from the University of Toronto in English, with specializations in Arthurian Literature and Shakespeare.
