Jeff Garton is a global career-coach and executive recruiter who lives with his family near Chicago, Illinois. He formerly worked in Human Resources with the Philip Morris Companies, where he led the global staffing functions for Kraft Foods and the Miller Brewing Company. Jeff has devoted his entire career to recruiting and coaching people through transitions across North and South America, Europe and Asia. Jeff holds an MA degree in Organizational Communication and Public Personnel Administration, a BA degree in History and Political Science, and a coaching certification with the Career Coach Institute. He received two best in class awards for recruitment marketing from the Employment Management Association. Jeff is also a contributing author to Employment Management Today, a former advisory board member to the National Society of Hispanic MBAs and a volunteer facilitator for the Career Resource Center in Lake Forest, IL. Jeff is a member of the International Coaching Federation, International Association of Career Management Professionals, and the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), and the Employment Management Association.
