English Summary/英文概要： Squirrel girl Unna is deliriously in love with dragon boy Rufus, but weighed down by the mystery surrounding her adoption. When the faunoid group travels to California to let loose, she becomes aware of some astonishing facts regarding her own past and Rufus’s aristocratic ancestry.

In California the group meets a pair of faunoids: siblings Nemo and Eden, whose presence makes the protective Rufus nervous. The trip escalates into a rescue mission when a group of hunters capture Unna. During the chase, Rufus discovers that Unna has, in fact, been created specifically for him via genetic manipulation and in vitro fertilization: the hunters have bred a mate for him in order to increase the planet’s wild dragon population. Unna is forced to re-evaluate her feelings for Rufus.

About the Author/作者介绍： Annukka Salama曾学习过服装设计和建筑学，并拥有影视广告制作学位。她本人曾在芬兰广播公司YLE制作过儿童档节目。她坦诚自己从未停止对摇滚明星和空中鼓乐的喜爱。夏季，Annukka和两个爱女经常喜欢爬树和疾走运动，她创作的Faunoids Trilogy 三部曲故事中的像松鼠一样活动的女孩Unna也是由此灵感而来。Faunoids Trilogy 三部曲目前已经拥有一个粉丝群体，而作者本人因正和电影制作人酝酿下一部续集。

Annukka Salama (b. 1980) has studied costume design and architecture and has a degree in film and TV production. She has worked, for example, on the production of children’s programmes at the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE. The idea of faunoid girl Unna first came to her while spending a summer day scooting and climbing trees with her two daughters.
