English Summary/英文概要： Siamak’s life has been entwined with adventure since his childhood. He would learn hunting beside his father, lose both his parents in an accident and become impotent, unable to conceive with his wife. Yet he continues to live, habituates himself to an ordinary life in the capital and has a caring relationship with a lover, Roshanak.
Siamak lives a plain existence. His only anguish is his inability to father children with Roshanak.
As part of a work project, Siamak travels to southern Iran with a group of co-workers to supervise oil and gas pipes of their petrochemical company. There he encounters Kapar1 inhibitors, claiming ancestral authority over all southern lands standing against the company and the piping agenda. They request financial compensation, stage an uprising and leave the company representatives with no other choice than confrontation.
In an unplanned conflict, Siamak accidentally kills Shakib, a member of the local Kapar opposition clan. He buries him in haste and flees back to Tehran, seeking refuge aside Roshanak he then proceeds to escape to the mountains on the western borders hoping to secretly leave Iran.

About the Author/作者介绍： 作者1977年出生于德黑兰，2000年毕业于伊朗科技大学电气工程专业。2005年，他开始着手进行第一部短篇小说集的创作，并与Qoqnoos出版社进行合作：《翻开雨衣的口袋》于2006年为其赢得伊斯法罕文学奖。
作者的第二部作品《雪与多云的交响曲》是一部包含有7篇小故事的选集，2008年由 Cheshmeh 出版社出版，并获得了多项殊荣：
2008年Houshang Golshiri文学奖最佳短篇小说集奖，2007和2008年度Mehrgan 奖最佳小说集奖。
2008年评论家与期刊奖、Rozi Rozegari 奖最佳短篇故事集奖。
“Isfahan 文学奖"和“图书城市奖”最佳短片小说奖，获奖作品为本选集中的《动物疾病》和《空洞之间》。
《守护者》是他的第一部小说，由Cheshmeh出版社于2014年一月出版发行。
Was born in 1977 in Tehran. He has graduated in Electrical engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) in 2000. He penned his first short stories collection in 2005 with Qoqnoos Publishing House: Search Your Raincoat Pockets which brought him the Isfahan Literary Award in 2006.
His second book, Snow and the Cloudy Symphony a collection of seven stories was launched in 2008 by Cheshmeh Publications and was praised with many awards including:
Houshang Golshiri Literary Award for the best collection of short stories in 2008
Mehrgan Award for the best collection of short stories in 2007 & 2008
The Critics and Journalists Award for the best collection of short stories in 2008
Rozi Rozegari Award for the best collection of short stories in 2008
“Isfahan Literary Award” and “The Book City Award” for the single short stories in this collection Animal Disease and Between the Empty Hollows.
The Guard is his first novel which was published by Cheshmeh Publications in January 2014.
