English Summary/英文概要: After years of helping others teach with a variety of interactive whiteboards (IWBs), Tony DeMonte found that, without a doubt, whiteboards can increase student engagement and motivation. But too often he encountered teachers who were unsure of how best to incorporate their IWBs in teaching and who ended up using them as glorified chalkboards, or worse, not at all. DeMonte wrote this book to help those educators grasp the full potential of this powerful tool. Tony DeMonte is the coordinator of instructional technology for Zion Elementary School District 6 in Zion, Illinois. He also served as an assistant principal in an elementary school and as kindergarten teacher for several years. He has presented on the topic of early literacy, integrating technology with young learners, interactive whiteboards, and assessment systems.
