About the Author/作者介绍： 埃米·扬是美国知名童书创作者。从记事时起，她就想成为一名艺术家，只要有时间就画画。后来，她在耶鲁大学接受专业的艺术训练，获得学士学位，并继续在印第安纳大学深造，主修绘画，获得艺术专业硕士学位。但她并没有走上艺术创作之路，而是考入哈佛大学法学院，在获得法学博士学位并从事七年律师工作之后，她重新拿起了画笔，全身心投入艺术创作。她于2003年出版了第1本图画书《大脚丫跳芭蕾》，并因此成名。她的“大脚丫”系列获得多项大奖。

Amy Young trained as a fine artist at Yale and went on to receive an MFA in painting from Indiana University, as well as a law degree from Harvard.
