Darci J. Harland has a variety of middle school, high school, and college teaching experience. Her background in teaching English and science helped her in the writing of her first book, STEM Student Research Handbook. At the undergraduate college level she’s taught courses in Biology, biology lab methods, content area literacy courses, and a wide variety of secondary methods courses. At the graduate level she’s taught courses regarding educational technology, content area literacy, and general teaching methods. She currently work at Illinois State University at the Center for Mathematics, Science, and Technology as the Assistant Director of Research.
