Gives educational theory base to back up ideas and approaches. Lots of easy-to-follow activities for student involvement. Even though it says science educators, this is highly applicable to ANY subject area. A must read for any professor who wants to get away from the mind-numbing lecture and provide students with real experiences that will help them learn and retain principles and concepts of a subject.
